Leacock never fails.  These heavy cotton napkins are adorned with a lively bandana design.   I guess we need to thank Persia for these charming patterns that have adorned the lowly handkerchief for so many years. There are 6 napkins in the set and they measure 17" square.  The napkins were purchased unused and with tags.  I would date them to the 1970's.  Your summer entertaining will never look better.
