This runner is designed in a hit or miss pattern and the collection of colors and textures represented is remarkable.  The weft fabrics are knit and woven and the finished product is fine and dense.  The warp threads are black and white and the runner measures 19" x 108".

Hit or miss appears to be random but it is a challenge of design for the experienced weaver.  This is the most remarkable example I've seen. 

This is a light-weight rug.  Given the width and length, I recommend a rug pad should this go on the floor.  However, it could just as easily be used as a table runner - think American obi.
