This charming little cloth is most likely of fairly recent Scandinavian origin.  It has been used but carefully and has no flaws that I saw.  36" x38"   This cloth illustrates what I admire most about linen damask.  It can be designed for the banquet hall, the kitchen or, in this case the log cabin - complete versatility and utility.  The pattern is of Hearts and Checkerboard and it is monogrammed - please see first image.
