Art Deco Czech Linen - Cloth and 8 Napkins
This charming Czech linen cloth and napkin set dates itself - Art Deco - late 1920's to early 1930's. The set has been used lightly and well cared for - the cloth used more than the napkins. The cloth measures 62" x 91" and the 8 napkins are 18" square. I see Native American design influences in this set. It is so evocative of a time with a strong sense of style.
I am redoing the images for this product - the old ones were not satisfactory - too dark. So, what I have for you, at this time, are two images of a napkin and one of the cloth. The color in the third image is the best representation and illustrates that this is a double damask. The colors in these Czech linens are hard to duplicate. Another time; another palette.
